​Mary Anne and Mark Beauchamp opened Cafe Yumm in Eugene, Oregon, in 1997. A highy successful 2-location enterprise, they hoped to polish their brand and general proposition for franchise.

Health, wellness and eco-consciousness is core to the menu and brand ethos—and this new design reflected this at all touchpoints through the almost exclusive use of sustainable and recycled materials.

The economy has slowed their plans, somewhat, but the concept has grown to 12 locations.​
